Job Description
Position Summary:
Independent consultant on risk management and property and casualty insurance issues for clients in various industries, especially real estate and construction and development. Provide professional evaluations of risks and recommend and implement effective risk management solutions.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
Risk identification and assessment for clients, Manage the insurance program for clients negotiation of coverage terms, confirmation of accuracy of the policies. Insurance broker management Contract/ certificate review, development of standards Premium allocation and budgeting Claim monitoring and assistance. Participate in new business development

Minimum Qualifications and Characteristics:
College degree preferred, Professional designation such as CPCU or ARM highly desirable. 15-20 years experience in property-casualty insurance 10 years insurance brokerage or risk management experience preferred Able to work autonomously and with little direction Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical and technical insurance skills
Success Factors:
Ability to work independently, self-starter. Need to be able to go in to a clients office and define your own tasks. Flexibility to adjust to different client cultures Client retention and participation in new business development Strong prioritization skills Self-confident and able to communicate at multiple levels within a clients operations
