Job Description

The Data Analyst I oversees the technical workflow of iAuditExpert, PremiumAuditExpert, pAE.Net and Loss Control 360 systems. He or she ensures that this data workflow is unfailing, troubleshoots problems, and documents new procedures as they arise. The Data Analyst I ensures that all duties are accomplished i.e.:

  • User Password Resets
  • User Account Set Ups
  • Technical Assistance
  • Supporting Help Desk
  • Data Entry

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Client and Program Set Ups
  • Validates results by testing programs
  • Ensures operation by training client personnel and field consultants; providing support.
  • Provides reference by writing documentation
  • Defining and analyzing computer system problem; designing and testing standards and solutions.
  • Identifies options for potential solutions and assessing them for both technical and business suitability.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

SUPERVISION RECEIVED:

  • This position reports to and is mentored by the Product Manager.

SUPERVISION EXERCISED:

  • Mentors the System Analyst I

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

  • BS / BA or Equivalent Work Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years

EXPERIENCE:

  • Expertise with Microsoft and Mac analytical products
  • Experience in troubleshooting and repairing software and hardware issues
  • Experience in prioritizing and managing workflow

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Attention to detail

  • Innovative, inquisitive, and extremely flexible
  • Sense of urgency mindset

KNOWLEDGE:

  • Knowledge of Windows and Mac based operating systems
  • Basic Knowledge of insurance, to include both loss control and premium audits.

ROUTINE DECISIONS AND FORMAL POLICY SETTING:

Decisions routinely made include:

  • Prioritizing Support requests
  • Work to delegate to Tier 1

Policy setting:

  • Formally responsible for providing input into policies associated with the jobs purpose and essential responsibilities
