Agile Coach

We are looking for an Agile Coach with demonstrated experience executing as a Product Manager. As part of our Agile Enablement Team you will teach, coach and influence our product management teams at all levels. Your primary goals include enabling Product Owners in defining vision, prioritizing the most valuable work, and partnering with development teams to drive customer delight in all products. We champion the ongoing work of our agile transformation across the company and work to shape and influence our strategies for cultural change throughout the organization.

Responsibilities:

For Product Owners

  • Craft and deliver customized agile training

  • Provide tailored ongoing coaching and training on agile leadership, ideation and experimentation, problem discovery and solution exploration, product vision and roadmapping and other topics as needed

  • Create, launch, and facilitate collaborative & working groups as well as Communities of Practice

  • Coach full teams on collaboration and whole-backlog prioritization

  • Prepare, deliver, and evangelize tools and artifacts for Product Owners

For Product and other leadership

  • Support ongoing efforts to evolve our scaling strategy

  • Partner with Portfolio leaders on KPIs, scorecard metrics, vision and roadmapping and other strategic efforts

For the organization

  • Deliver programs, trainings, and workshops that influence executives, leaders, and entire portfolios on Agile (principles, values, how to build, grow, and maintain a thriving agile organization at scale)

  • Define and track measures of success for coaching engagements

  • Model continuous learning and development of skills, support that learning in others

Qualifications:

Required

  • 7+ years contributing in an agile environment

  • 5+ years in a product role

  • 3+ years in a formal or informal coaching or consulting role

  • Extensive understanding of product owner role at various degrees of complexity

  • Extensive experience with product management

  • Expert level understanding of multiple agile methodologies

Preferred

  • Experience in a complex, large agile environment

  • Agile transformation or other organizational change experience

  • Experience with any formal agile scaling framework

  • Formal agile or executive coaching experience
