Description

AD&S Insights provides strategic and analytical insights to inform decision making by the Agent Distribution & Service leadership team. The Strategic Insights team specifically drives big picture decision making what are AD&Ss long term goals within the context of GRM US, how do we achieve those goals, and how do we translate goals into actions, budgets, and financial plans. We are looking for an actuary or senior actuary to lead important components of this work as we pursue our amibituous growth and expense management goals.

We are seeking an actuary/senior actuary to establish an analytical framework for our efficient growth efforts. In this role, you would be responsible for taking a holistic view of our portfolio of growth initiatives and analyzing the growth/expense trade-offs across those initiatives. You would succeed by articulating a growth-expense curve for the entire AD&S org and facilitating conversations around what is feasible in the short run, and what levers we can pull to hit our long run goals.

We measure ourselves on our ability to translate our insights into actions, and so a high performer in this role would be able to do high level analytics while building alignment with an executive, non-technical audience. Stakeholders include senior leaders across AD&S including IA/EA distribution, service, and operations. This role would be predominantly a senior individual contributor, though there is the possibility of direct reports as the team evolves.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a range posting for either a grade 19 actuary or grade 20 senior actuary depending on qualifications

  • Knowledge of concepts and functions related to growth, including economic/financial analysis, pricing, marketing, distribution, and underwriting
