Job Description
The Band D Lead assists in the management and vendor oversight for the responsibilities outlined in the vendor contract and in itemized statements of work.
In partnership with members of the VMO team the accountabilities include assessing ongoing effectiveness of the vendors operation and ability to provide incremental enterprise improvements. Additionally, achieve and maintain a collaborative relationship that promotes the Enterprise business units best interest. The ability to collect, analyze and provide recommendations is critical for this role, along with demonstrating project management techniques.
Job Description
- Maintain effective communication/partnership with Procurement, Compliance and Finance to ensure goals and targets are aligned (ok)
- As a VMO team member share in initiating processes to effectively manage vendor performance (SLAs/KPIs)
- Design and facilitate monthly/quarterly/annual strategy sessions
- Create and report on dashboard activity
- Billing dispute resolution
- Manage catalog of VMO initiatives and products
- Coordinate audits and reviews with vendor(s) to ensure adequate process management and compliance
- Evaluates current results, identifies variances to planned performance, analyzes root causes of variance and recommends action to be taken
- Participate in onsite reviews of vendor operations
- Assist finance and the business units with forecasting and analyzing expense trends
- Contribute to or develop presentations that summarizes VMO success stories which recommends direction and provide solutions
Job Qualifications
- Bachelors degree required
- Understanding of print operation and concepts
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to problem solve at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated business acumen including the ability to identify, define and communicate actionable business findings and opportunities
- Excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate both internally and externally
- Project coordination
- Demonstrate initiative and possess strong organizational skills with ability to multitask
- Strong interpersonal and communication skill, both verbal and written
- Customer relationship management expertise
- Demonstrated self-motivation in working with internal teams on business strategies and achieving departmental goals, objectives and initiative
- Strong data-analysis skills
