How This Role Contributes to Brighthouse Financial:

In this role you will be taking incoming calls from financial advisors regarding our suite of Life products and solutions. Refer potential leads, cases and/or sales opportunities to the Business Development Professional and/or the Regional Sales Vice President. Provide basic product illustration upon request; consult on product as well as directing resource support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Associates will be expected to answer and document inbound calls and provide professional sales support in regards to our product provisions and positioning
  • Handles majority of inbound calls and direct to appropriate areas
  • Researches, resolves customer requests and discusses basic solutions
  • Participate in special projects as needed
  • Identify and refer potential sales to Business Development Specialists
  • Create and provide basic illustration upon request
  • Solving advisors problems while providing an excellent advisor experience
  • Full accountability and ownership of problems until resolution is complete
  • Provide a world class advisor experience

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

  • 1+ year of industry experience
  • Able to communicate clearly and concisely
  • Expected to maintain a thorough knowledge of existing, new and enhanced products to provide first class service experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent of experience and education
  • The ability to obtain Life and Health Insurance License with Variable Authority and Certified Long Term Care Designation (CLTC) within 120 days of employment
  • The ability to obtain FINRA Series 6/7 and Series 63 within 120 days of employment
  • Advanced degrees or industry designation a plus
  • High degree of professionalism
  • Conscientious and detail oriented
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment
