Manages a group of Pension Administrators and is responsible for the day to day operations of the Defined Benefit LOSAP book administration. Extends guidance and oversight to direct reports. Provides effective and timely resolution of issues presented by clients, agents and insurance companies using analytical ability, independent thought and superior client service. Administers a complex book of defined benefit pension plans with a high degree of complexity and day to day activity.
Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree and at least three years of direct experience with the administration and client service responsibilities associated with supporting defined benefit and defined contribution retirement programs.
• Strong knowledge of actuarial concepts pertinent to the operation of defined benefit pension plans.
• Detailed knowledge of procedural and applicable laws relative to Length of Service Awards Programs.Knowledge of typical legal and compliance environment associated with retirement plans.
• Familiarity with the use of typical actuarial and retirement plan recordkeeping software; Microsoft Office applications, paperless processing/filing systems and accounting software.
• At least 2 years of direct management experience preferred.
• Must have or attain within three (3) months and maintain a current Life, Accident & Health license for Pennsylvania. Obtain and maintain other licenses as required.
