Job Description
This role is responsible for the development, publishing, and production design of claims knowledge content to achieve organizational objectives. This team member be responsible for the design of modern delivery of information, as well as establish best practices and processes for knowledge, learning and on the job information for Claims employees. The individual will continuously evolve and improve the platform through metrics, user feedback and stakeholder collaboration.
Knowledge Management
- Assist with the implementation of the knowledge management strategy.
- Responsible for ensuring content adheres to defined and documented standards and guiding principles.
- Partners with content owners to determine the best way to present information to end-users and ensure both readability and searchability, while identifying ways to support embedding knowledge management into existing processes and strategies.
- Supports the knowledge repository strategy that ensures a searchable, organized and single source of truth without duplication or redundancies.
- Ensures consistent look and feel, and modern delivery/standards of all content and resources.
- Creates and designs modern education, just in time learning and training content within the publishing platform.
- Coordinates the quantity and quality of the content that is being introduced into the system, ensuring proper content review protocols are executed which includes subject matter expert, risk management and legal content reviews.
- Responsible for knowledge quality including various processes and standards (content, design, intake, maintainence).
- Monitors metrics and provides reports, as well as enhances content based on data.
- Responsible for onboarding and training new users, and growing engagement and training support.
- Collaborates with subject matter experts and stakeholders to identify areas of opportunity and gaps in the knowledge flow, including scanning the working environment of the Claims employee group for potential sources of knowledge/content that would optimally exist via integration into the knowledge management system.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or related experience required
- Experience working on enterprise-wide knowledge management including strategy, systems, processes and procedures
- Experience with technical writing, corporate communications or content development and or editing is preferred
- Experience with professional graphic design software and strong technical literacy (computer software (beyond Microsoft Office), HTML, etc.)
- Strong understanding of evolving technology and communications platforms including web, social, and analytics
- Interest in modern internet technologies (blogs, articles, interactive content, communities, etc.) and modern design
- Works on an iterative, creative and agile team
