AmTrust E&S Insurance Services.

This Executive Underwriter position is designed for an individual with a minimum of ten (10) plus years of E&S (excess & surplus lines experience) writing medium to high hazard general liability insurance. Knowledge of ISO coverage forms. Individual account underwriting is required for hazard analysis, rating, pricing, and form selection.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Consistently achieve budgeted financial results (premium, loss ratio, retention, commissions, pricing, new business, premium collection, and expense management) through execution of market segment strategies
• Interact and collaborate with a team of market segment colleagues and other critical internal/external business associates
• Direct responsibility for broker development and management within a book of business entrepreneurial opportunity to include the following dynamics ability to build a book of business by writing own marketing plan
• Develop and build a profitable book of business in a paperless environment
• Involvement in product development and planning process annually

Requirements:

• Advanced risk assessment skills with product specialization-i.e.
• Experience working with wholesale producers
• Expertise and proven track record of underwriting within the relevant classes of business
• Ability to independently prioritize tasks and meet time deadlines
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Minimum 10 years underwriting experience
• Proven ability to work within a team environment
• BA/BS Degree minimum
• Ability to be detail oriented in fast paced environment
