To deliver on that mission and continue our growth, we are currently seeking a talented Business Analyst to join our current team.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform business analysis and process improvement on project requirements.
  • Work with project and customer management to facilitate communication between the software development team and the business units.
  • Use advance business knowledge and research customer requests for assistance and recommend software solutions.
  • Promote a high level of collaboration and teamwork with the project team and other business unit teams within an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Developing user stories based on business and systems requirements, as well as defining and elaborating user stories with validation and acceptable criteria.
  • Working as part of an Agile Development Team conducting and effectively participating in stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
  • Provide emergency support for critical priority issues and other business critical situations in a fast paced environment.

Job Requirements:

  • 5 + years as a Business Analyst.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Software Engineering from an accredited college and/or university.
  • Experience analyzing, clarifying and translating business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
  • Experience with writing user stories based on business and systems requirements, as well as defining and elaborating user stories with validation and acceptable criteria.
  • Experience working within an Agile/Scrum environment as a Business Analyst or Product Owner.
  • Experience working with Business Users and Software Developers to provide solutions which further enhance the applications and provide the business user with an improved experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as business presentation skills.
  • Demonstrate ability to successfully perform the various aspects of the Analyst role across multiple, complex system implementation with custom and 3rd party applications.
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with JIRA Agile a plus.
  • Experience in the insurance industry a plus.
