The Connector, a division of Ryan Specialty Group is looking for an experienced Software Developer to join our Buffalo, NY office. We are a fast paced, energetic and rapidly growing organization that offers a great opportunity for someone interested in further developing their career.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly-motivated individual with a .NET and Web development background. Your roles include but are not limited to: create detailed technical specifications, develop and deploy applications, participate in code reviews and module testing, and support ongoing maintenance.
Essential Functions:
- Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications.
- Integrate software components and third-party programs to meet specifications.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications.
- Create technical documentation for reference and reporting.
- Assist the corporate development team to build a technical knowledge base of firm wide applications.
Education/Experience/Skills:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science preferred.
- 5+ years experience in web and software development.
- Experience in Excel and VBA programming is a plus.
- Azure experience a plus.
- Solid knowledge of coding languages: Core technologies include but not limited to C#, ASP.NET, and JavaScript/AJAX
- Relevant experience with databases and TSQL.
- Experience configuring, programming, and deploying Web Applications and Web services.RSG has both internal and external facing applications
- Good writing skills.
