As a Business Implementation Analyst you will provide expertise in a focused area of the business through analysis and understanding of business needs. Demonstrating a fundamental knowledge of the business area's processes and best practices. Providing business knowledge and support for resolving technology issues in a defined, focused area of the business. For small, less complex business projects, you will have overall responsibility for the life cycle of the effort.

About Your Job:

• Assists with overall project planning by contributing to creating project definition documents for basic, less complex projects.
• Organizes, leads and finalizes design review sessions for basic business issues/requirements and document resulting decisions.
• Monitors competitor activity in the marketplace to spot external industry trends and identify blind spots in our strategic plans.
• Identifies and presents thoughtful recommendations to business stakeholders on new products, rating plans and market segments that would complement our product portfolio within existing states.
• Advises the business teams regarding the implementation of new pricing, scoring, rating and rules changes impacting our business processes and technology.
• Works with the business, IT and legal teams to identify and develop materials to support our regulatory filing needs.
• Partners with company stakeholders in the development of business strategies, business planning, IT and legal teams to identify and develop materials to support our regulatory filing needs.
• Partners with company stakeholders in the development of business strategies, business planning and forecasts for the Workers Compensation line of business.
• Partners closely with the enterprise business intelligence team in the development of self-service reporting and analytical tools.
• Identifies new opportunities for collaboration across departments by sharing data, optimizing workflows, or enhancing use of technology to solve business challenges.
• Analyzes cost center expenses, business processes and/or other available internal and external data sources to identify operational inefficiencies and recommend changes to department leaders.
• Performs business analysis and evaluates the impact of alternative management decisions on company business and financial performance.
• Partners with business and data analytics team to design new and innovative pricing and scoring tools to create efficiencies, generate new analytics insights, and drive additional revenue potential.

Education and Experience:

Bachelors degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university with Business, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science or similar. 0-2 years experience in business analysis. Strong Excel skills required. Insurance experience, VBA required. Salesforce and Application Development experience desired.
