Sr. E&S Casualty Claims Adjuster - Scottsdale, AZ
Growing Property and Casualty Insurance company is seeking a Sr. Casualty Claims Adjuster for their Scottsdale office.  Candidates will be responsible for handling complex liability claims for hospitality risks all the way through litigation.  You will be responsible for coverage analysis, investigation, evaluation of liability, settlements & subrogation for the Hospitality Lines of Business.

Responsibilities: 

• Litigation Management including strategizing with defense counsel and experts on defense cases as well as declaratory judgment actions
• Reserve claims files early & accurately, with goal of minimizing adverse development
• Negotiate settlements; attend mediations, arbitrations & trials as appropriate (travel costs reimbursable)
• Manage & control Loss Adjusting Expenses spent on attorneys, experts, independent adjusters & vendors

Qualifications: 
•    A minimum of 10 years' experience handling general liability claims on the carrier and/or TPA sides of the business.  Experience with Hospitality related or Dram Shop claims is a plus.
•    Bachelors Degree is preferred 
•    Excellent verbal and written communications skills 
•    Strong technical claims background with business acumen 
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications 
•    Appropriate Claims Adjuster’s licenses or the ability to obtain the same across several jurisdictions
