Texas based carrier is developing a new Policy Administration system and in need someone that can help with system testing. Some of the duties/ skills would be:
- Creating testing plans and setting up scenarios that specify input and expected outcomes. Providing notes as to exact testing methods to duplicate defects and identify bugs.
- Technical support and training for users to determine if a problem is a bug or a training issue.
- Insurance industry experience is desired.
- Knowledge about PCs and the ability to troubleshoot software or installation issues would be a big plus but not absolutely required.
Knowledge of personal lines insurance strongly preferred. Will consider candidates coming from an underwriting or account management background in addition to more of an IT based background.
