Job Purpose: Ensure the web application is delivered with the performance and flexibility required for the Company to meet its goals.

Provide support for the Companys web applications by monitoring and fixing all software issues; monitoring the daily output performance of programs; resolving all web issues that CRS and others in the Claims department may have while using the Claims Management Application; resolving internal Work Orders as reported to the Help Desk by the business units.

Implement new features by developing all software code changes to the Claims Management Web applications per business needs.

Prepare code for testing by performing preliminary quality assurance checks before being sent to the actual Quality Assurance Department for a second round of testing before being sent into production.

Assure maintainability and ease of operating of all system changes by adequately documenting new feature designs and codes.

Education: Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience: 5-7 years of solid technical experience; insurance background preferred

Skills and Abilities: The ability to handle complex problems effectively, separating complex issues and generating multiple solutions; Strong written and oral communication skills; analytical and problem-solving abilities; ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment; experience working in a collaborative team environment.

Other: Requires Hands on knowledge and solid working experience on MS SQL, IIS, HTML, JavaScript. Java, Ajax, Guidewire Claims Management version 4.x or higher is preferred.
