Liberty Mutual Insurance is currently seeking a Recruiting Coordinator or Recruiting Representative to join our Talent Acquisition Services Team. This person will excel at developing and sustaining meaningful relationships with candidates, recruiters and hiring managers for the purpose of assisting with the delivery of a strong talent pipeline for roles across the Company. This is an excellent opportunity to join Talent Acquisition in an entry-level role with the opportunity to grow.

Responsibilities:


1. Clearly and effectively communicates recruiting procedures, detail and status to candidates, recruiters and hiring managers.


2. Maintains accurate and well-ordered documentation on candidates, interview schedules and other recruiting activities using recruiting management system and other filing systems. Ensures Company and legal compliance with employment practices, policies and processes.


3. Coordinates interview and phone screen scheduling with candidates and hiring managers. Arranges any necessary candidate travel.


4. Processes and submits all candidate expense requests


5. Orders and maintains documentation on the background check and I9 processes


6. May review and qualify new applicants in Taleo, coordinate and administer pre-employment assessment, generate and distribute offer and acceptances letters and/or assist in college hiring activities.


7. Contributes to the continuous improvement of the Talent Acquisition & Programs organization by actively participating in process improvement sessions and huddles; Recommends and assists in the development and implementation of solutions that drive increased value for internal clients in terms of reduced costs, improved efficiencies, quality, service, technology and processes.


8. May act as a team lead on specific projects or responsibilities, researching and solving inquires/requests of a more complex nature as well as mentor more junior staff.


9. Performs additional duties, including project-related work, as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Related Associates degree or equivalent training and a minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience or related Bachelors degree.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills necessary to effectively work with senior management, hiring managers, applicants and candidates.
  • Ability to organize time and work; Must be able to maintain a high level of customer service in a high volume environment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, other software applications and past use of a web-based applicant tracking system, preferably Taleo.
  • Demonstrated willingness to experiment with new ideas and effectively participate in team huddles.
