Job Description
This position is on the Talent Acquisition Strategic Sourcing and Programs Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, maintain, and improve recruitment strategies and programs to ensure we have a diverse set of talent pipelines that support needs across the business.
- Build standard measurement of evaluating programs and partnerships. Define measures of success related to programs and diversity recruiting efforts and identify ways to improve.
- Identify and build new external partnerships and programs that net higher return in quality and diversity of candidates.
- Work cross-functionally to acquire the commitment and resources needed to build, scale, and drive better outcomes in both the diversity of our candidate pool and the overall hires made through our efforts. This includes working directly with recruiters and sourcers to improve diversity of their pipelines.
- Apply systems thinking in building, scaling, and integrating enterprise wide talent acquisition programs.
- Manage the change needed to position Allstate for success in attracting, hiring, and retaining the workforce of the future, this may include addressing hiring practices that work against our goal of building and retaining a diverse workforce like rewiring our definition of the ideal candidate, changes to our selection process, and addressing systemic and unconscious bias.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- This role will supervise a team of three employees focused on diversity recruiting.
Job Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree
- 6 or more years of related experience
Functional Skills
- Experience building, implementing, and scaling enterprise-wide/global recruiting strategies and programs.
- Experience leveraging data to analyze trends, shape strategies, identify opportunities for improvement and influence buy-in and/or change.
- Experience managing medium to large scale projects from ideation to implementation
- Experience in building strong working relationships with stakeholders at varying levels
- Strong working knowledge of TA technology, industry trends, and best practices
- Strong communication and presentation skills needed to influence others, manage change, and set clear expectations
- Recruiting process knowledge or experience
- Creative thinking and problem solving
- Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Suite of business software, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Advanced time management skills including ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize and organize
