Job Summary
Our National Accounts Finance is seeking a highly motivated Manager to lead a production team. The production team is responsible for reviewing, analyzing and verifying the financial accuracy of Loss Sensitive deals not only for National, but for all of Business Insurance in order to support financial and production reporting shared with multiple levels of the National Accounts organization, including senior management. Under moderate supervision, the incumbent will oversee the Loss Sensitive Pricing Model (LSP), Account Pricing Exhibit (APE), Collateral Model, High Excess worksheets, Agreement Letter and Reinsurance documents for accuracy and completeness. Ability to collaborate with others is key as this individual would partner with various contacts throughout the business, finance, actuarial, marketing and technical support community. Responsible for production reporting of account level information and monthly key metrics are accurate. Responsible for managing the day to day activities of direct reports. Involved in performance management and compensation decisions for employees, but does so with direct supervision of more senior level managers.


Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
Establish work objectives and goals for employees and manage performance. Typically involved in hiring and compensation decisions. Assist in the design, preparation, evaluation and validation of more complex internal and/or external financial and operating reports, both routine and ad-hoc. Perform and review analysis and interpretation of trends and variances in business performance, interacting with cross functional peers on a frequent basis. Validate analyses. Synthesize and present exhibits, results, observations, recommendations to cross functional peers and management Accountable for tactical production of financial plan in support of the Business plan and forecast for the organization (annual, ongoing and long term). Apply basic accounting and financial concepts and controls to provide subject matter expertise in the development, implementation or enhancement of financial, operations, and business applications. Identify, use and train others on appropriate tools to obtain, compile and analyze more complex data necessary to support more advanced financial reports and analysis, and provide input on potential tool utilization enhancements. Accountable for tactical production including an advanced understanding of impact of competitor, market and industry landscape. Prepare and review external financial disclosures including, but not limited to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), SEC and STAT (Statutory Accounting Principles). Perform and review financial controls in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of related experience.

Education, Work Experience & Knowledge
Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting preferred. Typically 4+ years of related experience. Formal or Informal experience leading others. General knowledge of Financial Analysis concepts, principles and processes. General Knowledge: Possesses sufficient knowledge to perform most work in normal situations.

Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook). Intermediate influencing of cross functional peers. Intermediate business perspective including an understanding of the political nature of the organization. Basic leadership skills, including delegation and employee development. Intermediate project management skills. Ability to identify customers needs and take appropriate action to meet those needs. Ability to work well in tight timeframes and deadlines Intermediate ability to present material concisely. Intermediate Leadership Skills including ability to: Manage in participative manner Develop employees Intermediate skill/competency level: demonstrates solid knowledge and ability; can apply the competency with minimal or no guidance, in the full range of typical situations. Requires guidance handling novel or more complex situations.

Working knowledge of the loss sensitive insurance business, preferred. Strong technical skills are required, with knowledge of TM1 and LSP, preferred.
