Job Description

This position is responsible for to research, analyze, design, develop and/or modify application and data systems as assigned. This position also provides system development capabilities to the organization. Our technology stack is C#, ASP.NET MVC, Node.js, Angular, jQuery, Entity Framework, and SQL Server. We are an agile shop and we strive to find innovative ways to solve business problems using technology.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reviews, analyze, and modifies programming and data systems including encoding, testing, debugging, and creating installation capabilities to support the organizations application systems.
• Participates in the design of future capabilities; Consults with users to identify current operating procedures and to resolve user issues
• Frequently relies on instructions and/or pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
• Take part in developing instructions and/or guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

• BS / BA in Engineering or Computer Science or Equivalent Work Experience

EXPERIENCE:

• 5+ years experience in the Information Technology field as a systems developer

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• .NET development and object-oriented programming.
• Understanding of JavaScript and CSS.
• Ability to write and understand SQL queries (SQL Server preferred).
• Experience with ASP.NET MVC.
• Experience with Entity Framework.
• Experience with reporting tools (e.g. SSRS, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Attention to detail.
• Positive attitude.

KNOWLEDGE:

• Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
• Clear understanding of the technology used within the environment
• A background in healthcare or worker's compensation is preferred
