Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for assisting the Product Manager and Senior Manager in providing best level of client servicing for all client accounts assigned.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review new business submissions and provide quotes to potential clients. Request and review additional information as needed to determine if risks are a good fit for our business. Track and follow up on quotes with broker partners. Receive and review paperwork to bind quotes and submit to carrier for policy to be written. Facilitate quotes and binding online with carrier as required. Ensure policy is bound as quoted, follow up with carrier underwriter as needed.
  • Set up and update client files for new and existing clients. Provide billing department with information to set up, invoice, and process payment for fees received on new clients.
  • Maintain and update client files and spreadsheets for all policies, documents, and updates. Assist team in conversion to new agency management system (AIM) to use for maintaining, updating and keeping all client files and records
  • Review changes to policies for changes in service fees, prepare monthly service fee billing updates to send to billing department for invoicing. Assist Product Manager with billing issues and collection efforts as needed.
  • Answer client inquiries and assist clients with policy questions and issues.
  • Provide certificates of insurance for clients as requested
  • Work as part of the team for smooth processing of renewals, customer service, billing, and issue resolution.
  • Maintain excellent relationship with clients, brokers, and carrier contacts.
  • Assist Product Manager and Senior Manager with projects as requested.
  • Escalate issues as needed to supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: Bachelors degree preferable or 3-4 years industry related experience

EXPERIENCE: 1-2 years insurance related, customer service experience

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Experience with PC office products such as Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Google Mail. Experience with agency and broker management systems a plus i.e. AIM, Sageta. Ability to navigate the internet and conduct research as needed.

KNOWLEDGE:

Good working knowledge of insurance, risk transfer and client service needs.
