Our client company, a solid and stable national insurance organization, has been experiencing steady profitable growth which has created an E&S underwriting opportunity in their Scottsdale Arizona specialty lines department.

This company has brand name recognition in the specialty lines underwriting arena and will provide an insurance professional with an outstanding opportunity for growth in their E&S career while working in a great environment.

Primary responsibilities for the position include:

  • Underwrite General Liability and Property
  • Work with surplus lines non-admitted accounts
  • Work with both new and renewal accounts
  • Make risk selections, analyze exposures, and price accounts
  • Help build a profitable book of business


The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of commercial E&S underwriting experience in an insurance carrier or MGA environment. Candidate must be results oriented and comfortable working in a team environment.
