The Workforce Insights Centralized Reporting Team empowers HR to be strategic partners to drive the business by providing simple and consistent data solutions and analytic consulting that enable evidence-based talent decisions.

Job Summary

The Workforce Insights Centralized Reporting Associate Manager leads a team of reporting consultants and serves as a strategic consultant on a projects where advanced analytic expertise is needed. Responsible for team development, executing on the WFIs vision / strategy, and supporting HR through analytic consulting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership and development for a small team of reporting consultants
  • Serve as a project manager on dashboard development projects, coordinating the development, rollout communication and change management efforts.
  • Serves as a consultant to HR on measurement and analytic approaches (e.g., defines measurement strategies that will provide insights to address those needs).
  • Work with data systems to collect, extract, clean, match/combine, and format data sets for statistical analysis.
  • Analyze data using basic statistical methods to examine relationships between talent management predictors and outcomes.
  • Create reports, dashboards, scorecards, white papers, and other materials to deliver talent management insights to clients.
  • Present talent management insights, findings, and recommendations to Allstates senior leaders across business areas.

Job Qualifications

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in a relevant field is required; Masters degree in an analytic or quantitative field is preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership and business expertise
  • Approximately 5+ years of experience that includes using data to address talent questions or problems
  • Basic statistical analysis skills
  • Intermediate research design expertise
  • Advanced consulting and client management skills
  • Experience with HRIS/HCM technology; SAP/SuccessFactors preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and working knowledge of SharePoint
  • Proficiency in Tableau and R is preferred
  • Able to manage and set expectations with stakeholders and displays strong negotiation skills
  • Possesses an understanding of HR processes (recruiting, performance management, etc)
  • Prior experience or the ability to work in a complex corporate environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Ability to communicate complex information clearly and logically to a variety of audiences.
  • Deals effectively with ambiguity, change, and adapts appropriately to a range of situations

Displays strong self-awareness, collaboration and empathy. Ability to motivate, encourage, influence and empower others.
