Associate Financial Analyst

The Associate Financial Analyst will compile financial data and create exhibits and reports that support business decision making. Demonstrates increasing independence, accuracy, and insight as skills are built to move to the next level. Actively engages in continuous improvement projects designed to increase the speed and effectiveness of financial analysis.
Compiles information and inputs it to the budgeting system or financial plan exhibits, collaborating with the team to identify and address key issues while meeting the planning schedule.
Accurately compiles data and incorporates it in financial forecasts and models.
Creates effective management reports and associated analyses that explain financial results or changes to the forecast or plan in a timely manner, learning to identify trends and issues that warrant further analysis.
Learns how to assist in production support and maintenance for budget or other financial systems
Makes suggestions to improve the business value and efficiency of the work performed and collaborates with the team on evaluating and implementing suggestions. Actively participates in increasingly complex department projects and continuous improvement activities.
Shares expertise with others to accomplish shared goals.
- Bachelor`s degree (Finance or Accounting) is required.
- An internship or other finance experience is preferred.
- Must demonstrate attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously to achieve results.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with teammates, collaborate to solve problems and raise issues and concerns in a variety of settings including business meetings.
- Working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word.
