Summary

The Digital Product Manager will lead Health New England’s (HNE) Digital Vision Program including: leadership of an agile team of developers, digital product development, UX/CX management, and customer experience consulting. Impacts include: websites, secure member, employer, broker, and provider portals, blogs, social media, traditional collateral, advertising, newsletters and mobile communications. This role will partner with other business areas and teams across marketing to develop and define the customer journey(s) and related experience(s) across Health New England’s properties in both digital and traditional mediums.   

Essential Functions

  • Consult across marketing organization on digital and traditional marketing campaigns, infusing a focus on UX/CX
  • Own digital product development and management for HNE, keeping apprised of competitive advantage and excellent customer experiences
  • As part of the product part of this role, manage the relationship with our IT and Data teams, ensuring alignment with product vision
  • Develop and manage a product roadmap for the digital vision program, working with the Director of Marketing & Digital to secure resources and funding
  • Serve as the digital subject matter expert (SME) for the organization and champion the focus of “mobile/digital first” 
  • Influence the overall user experience across HNE’s customer touch points
  • Partner with content, design and the marketing team to create experiences and designs that are engaging 
  • Translate business requirements into focused, understandable and simple design deliverables
  • Incorporate user research and analytics into all projects
  • Analyze metrics to understand all mediums including user patterns and engagement
  • Recommend new tools, processes and ideas consistent with HNE’s strategic priorities
  • Consulting with a senior stakeholder group about opportunities and planning needed to achieve short and long-term objectives
  • Support internal HNE projects that have Marketing impact as a Subject Matter Expert
  • Support HNE’s overall Marketing and Digital Strategy

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Web Design, Marketing or related field, with 5-7 years of digital design experience leading marketing/communication projects and website traffic; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experienced with the principles of SEO and analytics
  • Experience with Axure, Visio, or other wireframing tools and Adobe Photoshop
  • Experience in directing a small team of people across varied projects using Jira or other development tools.
  • Knowledge of user-centered design and development principles
  • Working knowledge of CSS & HTML
  • Excellent management skills and a focus on quality and timely output
  • Skilled in user centered design principles, game mechanics, social media, and design production
  • Skilled manager with a focus on quality and timely output
