Job Description

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelors Degree, or equivalent experience in workers compensation, health care, insurance, or claims management
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills with customer service focus
  • Knowledge of medical terminology/documentation and coding
  • Excellent computer skills with ability to navigate between computer systems
  • A positive attitude and demonstrated flexibility
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and fast pace work environment

Duties:

  • Responsible for timely and accurately processing of assigned ADRs and orders per ADR policies and standards
  • Assists with organization of medical information by preparing file for physician review/IME per departmental standards
  • Complete ADR Mini-packets per ADR policies and standards
  • Completes the back-ending process to capture ADR data and order completion utilizing CareWorks ADR database and BWC system
  • Prepares ADR file for ADR IME, if applicable; contacts injured worker per BWC policy for exam scheduling availability and documents in notes; tracks IME process to ensure timely resolution of report; assists with ensuring vendor invoices are processed for payment
  • Responds to all ADR internal and external inquiries for appropriate customer service
  • Improves company effectiveness and efficiency by collecting information/data, identifying issues, recommending solutions to ADR Manager
  • Maintains timeliness of performance benchmarks for assigned files
  • Assists with identification of need for PA Reviewer feedback/training and communicates issues to ADR Manager for resolution
  • Act as mentor for team if/when needed
  • Support team environment and assist in meeting ADR department and Company performance goal
  • Maintains confidentiality and protects sensitive information/data
  • Maintains compliance with all federal, state laws, URAC standards, BWC and CareWorks policies and procedures
  • All other duties as assigned
