Job Purpose: Manages and coordinates projects and analysis related to product development. Requires critical perspective and vision to research, identify and evaluate new product opportunities and modify existing procedures based on knowledge of the auto insurance marketplace, business metrics and discussions with other departments and vendors.
Essential Job Results:
- Coordinate and lead research and implementation efforts to move our pricing, underwriting and customer acquisition efforts forward.
- Provide strategic direction for law changes and ensure regulatory compliance with state and federal regulations and statutes.
- Create product requirements, specification and timelines.
- Must consider multiple distribution channels when modifying existing products and rules or designing new ones.
- Work with outside vendors
- Optimize existing processes

Education: Bachelors degree, with preference given to Math, Statistics, Finance or a related field.
Experience: Experience with Product Analysis, Product Development and Marketing for Auto Insurance products required; at least 3-5 years previous auto product management experience required.

Office Equipment and Software: Computers, telephones, MS Office including Excel, Access, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Visio; experience with SQL, SAS batch raters and mapping software, or Power BI.
