We are looking to add a new team member with a background in business / technical analysis to a dedicated agile team focused on a highly complex consumer facing product team. 

You will: Work with the product owner and other team members to define and document high-level epics and user stories that are clear and concise and which include clear acceptance criteria; Learn, understand and document complex system processes; Participate in continual backlog refinement and prioritization; Manage the needs of related products (run by other teams) as well as the needs of a number of external stakeholders to produce an overall solution that works for the organization; Assist with the triage, prioritization and resolution of identified issues in testing or production; Stay focused on the team's sprint goals and support the overall process; Take on other roles as needed (testing, automation, development) to support the team; Take initiative and work independently; Exhibit strong skills in collaboration, influencing, and teamwork; Ask questions and work through ambiguity; Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Focus on continuous improvement and learning - for the product and as an individual; Accept and adapt to a changing environment and changing priorities; Bring planning/organizational, problem-solving, analytical, time management, decision-making and communication skills to the team; Participate in a community of practice across the organization with others in a similar role to help share ideas.


Required Experience:  Four year college degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or other related field or equivalent work experience. 5 years of IT experience. 2 years of experience working on a development team that is making use of an iterative framework and writing User Stories.  Advanced verbal and written communications skills. 
Desired Experience: Experience working as a software developer or as a tester in an automated testing environment.  Working knowledge of Jira.  Experience in the Property and Casualty Insurance industry. Certification as a Scrum Master, Scrum Developer or similar.
