The Property Subrogation Claim Representative is directly responsible for the handling and management of CIGs property recovery operation with focus on the highest level of efficiency, customer service, and regulatory compliance. The Property Subrogation Claims Representative is responsible for review and analyzing investigation and recovery of potential of a loss, and then execution of the recovery. Solid analysis and documentation ability is essential to ensure work quality, effective claims handling practices and application of company polies and procedures. Property Subrogation Claim Representative must also have data analysis ability that will allow review of xactimate reports, data trends and patterns to locate missed opportunities. In addition, this position will need to maintain evidence for the pursuit of recoveries, and take a lead role in the training and development of others in the claim operation on subrogation practices.

Must have property claim experience, sound people management skills and able to function effectively in a fast-paced claim environment. We require someone who is a self-starter with excellent time management and sound organizational skills, effective verbal and written communications, ability to interact effectively with claimants, customers, attorneys and company personnel, good claims handling knowledge along with investigative and analytical skills are needed to evaluate exposure, determine avenue of recovery and bring cases to a successful conclusion.

Qualifications, Education & Experience:

Must have a background in Property Claims and understand the subrogation component of property claims, as well as techniques for effective recoveries including theories of negligence and contracts. Preference will also be given to candidates that have multi-line adjusting background, college background and/or other collections experience. Excellent PC skills are also required along with the ability to communicate in a variety of forums.
