Works closely and effectively with the General Counsel to keep him/her well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately.
Prepares legal documents, reports and correspondence under the supervision of the General Counsel.
Produces information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data, and graphics.
Extensive calendar and schedule management.
Maintains executive's appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel.
Assists with travel arrangements, lodging, and meal planning as needed
Organizes and maintains files and records
Controlled confidential records including financial statements, payroll, personnel files, contracts, and legal documents.
Coordinate and set up high-level conference calls, management meetings and special events.
Organizes logistics for meetings as requested
Welcomes guests and customers by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or directing inquiries.
Prepares reports by collecting and analyzing information.
Adhere to compliance with applicable rules and regulations set in bylaws regarding board and board committee matters, including advance distribution of materials before meetings in electronic/paper format.
Provides historical reference by developing and utilizing filing and retrieval systems; recording meeting discussions.
Arrange complex domestic and international travel and itineraries
Trained as administrator for BoardVantage software that is used for the board meetings
Manage Expense Reports for the executive.
Enrolls and organizes logistics for the General Counsel's professional meetings and seminars.
Tracks and keeps a file of all CLE credits for the General Counsel
Maintains a high level of confidentiality.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Organizes Cunningham Lindsey's annual Holiday Party
Related college degree and/or completion of an accredited Legal AssistantParalegal training program preferred; HS Diploma or GED required.
1 year of applicable experience in a legal environment required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint, expected.
Experience with or ability to quickly learn, Galexy Legal Suite (Litigation Management System), Visio, MS Project, Board Vantage, SAP, ImageNow, Winshuttle, LINK, Vanguard, and Concur.
