Job Summary
Under direct supervision, demonstrates a working understanding of the activities performed related to engineering support, installation and/or operations of infrastructure technologies. These activities include diagnostic testing, technical analysis and engineering support associated with approved vendor products, engineering packages and installed solutions. Ability to multi-task in an environment of changing priorities. This job does not manage others.

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
Applies engineering standards and specifications to meet all recurring, pre-defined hardware/software/facility solutions. Performs diagnostics testing and analysis. Provides technical/engineering support on the evaluation of vendor products and services. Plans, coordinates, and provides support of all activities associated with the implementation/installation of technology. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent required.

Education, Work Experience & Knowledge
Associate's degree in Technology or a related field preferred. Prior technology internship or work experience preferred. Basic knowledge of an infrastructure technology preferred.

Job Specific & Technical Skills & Competencies
Basic knowledge of one or more of the following technical skills:
Foundational IT Infrastructure Operating Systems Software Basic knowledge of process discipline and IDLC methodology.
Engineering skills:
  • Unix
  • Windows
  • Scripting
Programming skills
  • Object oriented languages python java
  • Web Front Ends - HTML, CSS
  • Modular design
  • Experience Building API -preferred
Testing skills
  • Test Driven Development
