Job Description

Contact identified companies and develop action plan to sell to targeted clients by providing company services information

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ability to achieve established sales goal by offering small group and group retro accounts to clients
  • Provide quotes and detailed information about company services
  • Ability to set up and follow up on appointments for Contract Sales team throughout the state of Ohio
  • Contributes to overall team efforts by achieving established performance standards for outbound call quota
  • Accurate completion of Workers Compensation forms needed for contract
  • Ability to meet and adhere to deadline dates for sales campaigns
  • Provide outstanding customer service support for the company services sold
  • Remain knowledgeable and up to date on changes or developments with SalesForce software
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with federal laws and rules, Ohio workers compensation laws and rules, and BWC contract requirements as applicable to areas of responsibility
  • Identify areas for quality improvement and make recommendations to supervisor
  • May be required to perform other job-related tasks other than those specifically presented above

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

  • High School diploma, or GED equivalent

EXPERIENCE:

  • 1-2 years inside sales experience of selling services and cross-selling production lines through business relationships
  • Third party administrator workers compensation experience
  • Networking with a variety of strategic partners and customers

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Demonstrates the ability to follow guidelines
  • Must be accurate and detailed oriented
  • Ability to independently follow scripted materials
  • Strong phone skills with ability to promote and articulate value of company products and service
  • Ability to request clarification of guidelines if applicable

KNOWLEDGE:

  • Computer literate in Windows environment
  • Ability to create spreadsheets and letters
