Allstate Claims SIU has an excellent opportunity for a Property Investigator out of Dublin, OH!
In this vital role, you will be responsible for the investigation of Property claims, including theft and fire losses, to detect or deter fraud through our state-of-the-art claim system and within the guidelines of all states Department of Insurance. As a member of our SIU Team, you will investigate potentially fraudulent claims to include taking recorded statements, communicating with federal, state and local government/private agencies, explaining the claim process to involved parties, perform detailed site examinations and determine liability.
Laptop computer technology is used to document investigation plans and results within the claim applications as well as searching internet resources and databases for information relevant to the investigation of the claim.
Excellent investigational and analytical skills are key skill sets for this position. Customer service and working as a team player with SIU employees and other Allstate Departments are also a requirement of this position.
- Minimum of 2 years property adjusting experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Large fire loss investigation a plus
- Prior SIU or Field investigation experience preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong Organizational and computer skills
- Ability to be a self-starter and work independently
- Persistent with the ability to work through and solve problems
- Strong analytical skills required
- Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply

Pease note that this highly demanding field service position will require travel. You must have a valid drivers license, use of a working and insured vehicle and be willing to work a flexible schedule to accommodate customers needs.
