Under general supervision, this position is responsible for facilitating live, virtual or blended learning programs. Does not manage others
Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
Deliver classroom, virtual and blended learning curriculum to meet the technical and leadership demands of employees and business partners. Create an environment in which learners feel comfortable to learn, ask questions and share experiences. Design learning assets (training materials/activities, videos, mockups) Other duties as assigned.
Minimum of five years of technical claim handling, training and/or leadership experience at a high level of proficiency required
Education, Work Experience & Knowledge
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in technical claim handling preferred General knowledge in applying adult learning and design theories to the design/development/delivery of engaging, effective learning resources in a wide variety of formats preferred General knowledge of MS Office products preferred Working knowledge of multiple learning technologies required, including video conferencing, virtual platforms (Lync, Skype for Business), use of cameras for streaming, etc. preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to self-review and meet rigorous quality standards preferred Demonstrated focus on continuous self-learning and exploration of new trends, strategies, and practices in the talent development field preferred
Job Specific & Technical Skills & Competencies
Advanced Technical Claim Handling (coverage analysis, claim handling principles and processes, resolution of claims) knowledge and skills in one or more lines of business and/or specialty preferred Intermediate learning facilitation skills preferred Basic leadership skills, including building, maintaining and repairing work relationships preferred
Operates standard office equipment (daily) Standing (40-50% of time) Lifting items up to(50 lbs.t) pounds/ (weekly) Climbing unprotected heights (ladder, rooftop, stairs, loading dock) (weekly) Use of Keyboards, Sporadic 10-Key (daily) Driving (10% of year)
