Under general supervision, provides intermediate programming, configuring and/or analysis skills for specific system assignments. Manages interaction between the systems and corporate technical support areas when additional support is required. Troubleshoots, conducts impact analysis, and escalates appropriately. As member of Business Rules Management Center of Excellence (BRMCoE) team: manage, create, and implement Personal Insurance business rules on a state basis for personal insurance auto product lines. The role utilizes business rule technology to program/build business rules. The position implements project tasks as assigned for the following types of PI projects: strategic, new product development and enhancements, Speed to Market and ongoing maintenance initiatives utilizing an Agile delivery methodology. Tasks include analysis, specifications development and documentation, business rules development, testing and training. Work with the Product Management organization to create or modify existing rules based on analysis or related management information.
Experience/advanced knowledge of programming business rules using business rules management tool.
Working knowledge of Personal Insurance systems or similar systems.
Strong personal computing skills with emphasis on Excel, Word and other Microsoft software.
Experience analyzing business and/or system requirements within system.
Understanding of software development life cycle.
Experience working with Personal Insurance products
Experience with business rules technology such as ODM, JRules/ILOG.
SAFe Agile experience; iterative development

High School diploma or equivalent required. 3 years of programming/development experience required.

Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. 5 years of programming/development experience preferred.
