Workers Compensation Assistant Product Specialist - Systems (Entry Level)


Overview

Reporting and advanced skills with Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and One Note) - Required

Daily Good Morning Reports for all UW Regions including analyzing and monthly report write ups for the NWCPT
Weekly Reports for Regional Management including analyzing and monthly report write ups for the NWCPT
Bi-Weekly Reports for Regional Management including analyzing and monthly report write ups for the NWCPT
Monthly Reports for Regional Management including analyzing and monthly report write ups for the NWCPT
Quarterly Reports for Regional Management including analyzing and monthly report write ups for the NWCPT
Reports as needed for NWCPT Management

Responsibilities

Daily WC BOL/EOL WC File Audits including UW Alerts and Prior Alert Follow up.
Monthly WC BOL Audit Review- Monthly Data Analyzing (and as directed by WC Product Team Management) to identify trends, UW concerns and/or system issues- summary reported monthly to NWCPT Management.
System testing prior to/after all system releases coordinated with Workers Compensation Product Specialist and/or WC Vice President Systems/Training.
Report issue tracking, testing and monitoring of existing Reports (ANA Reporting, Data Services, Reporting Services, Cube/Power BI)
Assisting with the creation, development, testing and roll out of new Reports.
Assist with organizing and maintaining the WC Underwriting Manual(s).
Assist with organizing and maintaining training materials (as needed/directed) for all WC systems training.

Qualifications

1-2 years of general office experience required.
Insurance industry experience a plus.
High School Graduate or GED as minimum education requirements, Bachelors degree strongly preferred or 4 years of commercial lines underwriting work experience.
Proven research and analytical skills to identify, gather and organize information to provide recommendations.
Analytical thinking.
Customer service oriented.
Must be able to meet deadlines and work in a fast paced atmosphere.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and One Note)
Ability to learn new software applications
