Job Summary
Under direct supervision, the University Relations Diversity Sr. Consultant provides consultation to partners on entry level recruiting strategies in support of their hiring needs, primarily focused on University and Diversity resources. Drive and support the marketing and recruitment plans for undergraduate and internship opportunities on assigned target campuses and with diversity affiliates in collaboration with University Relations and internal business partners. This job does not manage staff.


Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
Recruitment:
Develop and implement effective on-campus and diversity recruitment strategies and related events supporting those strategies.
Act as primary liaison to internal business partners on University Relations/Diverse Talent Acquisition strategy, process, policy and best practices.
Consult with UR team on job openings, providing strategic consulting on openings, candidates and interviewing/selection process per needs of programs.
Manage requisition processing and job candidates/applicants related to Diversity Pipeline Programs.
Execute diversity program deliverables, including the planning and recruiting of internal scholarship efforts.
Research new sources of diverse talent for UR to complement existing partnerships.
Primary recruiting contact for the Diversity Pipeline efforts while carrying out with the delivery of the recruitment strategy and action plan set by the Director.
Plan Diversity Pipeline Partner interview days and job shadows with external partners across markets.
Partner with UR Consultants and Development Programs to ensure cross-communication among internship program diversity efforts.
Campus Execution:
Lead campus school team at assigned campuses in the marketing, branding and recruiting activities which support the recruitment strategy and action plans.
Build and maintain relationships with some faculty, administration and student groups on assigned campuses.
Engage internal business partner support, sponsorship and attendance of on-campus activities, including career fair attendance, on-campus interviews, relationship building events, etc.
Participate in on-campus events including career fairs, diversity conferences, campus relationship-building activities, or on-campus interviews as needed to ensure proper execution and/or facilitation of healthy, ongoing relationship or as directed.
Communicate career fair, on-campus interviews, information sessions and job posting requests to University Relations Consultant/Coordinator for assigned campuses.
Collaborate with Partner schools and UR Consultants to develop effective and consistent on campus recruiting strategies.
Participate and/or support internal marketing and recruiting events including Job Shadows, Open Houses, Case Competitions per the needs of the programs supported.
Manages within UR Diversity budget.
Collaboration:
Collaborate internally with University Relations team on cross-program and campus execution to ensure client needs and recruiting goals are supported.
Build and maintain solid partnerships with functional partners (Diversity, Learning & Development, Talent Management, Compensation, ESU, HR, etc.).
Provide periodic reporting and status updates on the progress of university diversity recruiting to the TA Diversity Sourcing Director; ensures proper data collection and recording.
Participate and/or lead Intern Advisory Council (IAC) conference calls and planning process in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Assume responsibility for one or more sub-committee areas (Housing, Orientation, Symposium, Networking Events/Activities, Communications, Focus Groups, Workforce Planning, etc.).
Manage or participate in departmental projects or initiatives as assigned.
Must possess proven capability of supporting the execution of program-specific university relations and recruitment solutions that are aligned with the company's and customers' values and goals.
The University Relations Diversity Sr. Consultant will use a wide range of internal and external resources to drive consistent improvement strategies. Other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of three years related work experience, including experience in a recruiting or other human resources role.

Education, Work Experience & Knowledge
Bachelor's degree preferred. Typically has a minimum of 5-7 years experience recruiting, with experience in university relations. Exceptional presentation/platform, written and oral communications kills.
