Our ideal candidate will develop programs and execute independent audit appraisals to determine the effectiveness and efficiency of operations throughout the Club. Supervises the work of other auditors assigned to a given project and monitors the quality of their work. Reviews deficiencies and recommends corrective action to management to improve operations and reduce costs. Performs complex analytical and auditing functions designed to ensure the adequate and effective control of assets and financial records. The senior auditor is in charge of evaluating the reliability and integrity of data that is developed by the Club. Evaluates adherence to Club objectives, policies and procedures and compliance with governmental laws and regulations. Also determines the adequacy of controls for safeguarding Club assets and verifies the existence of assets. Performs special investigations as assigned on potential fraud, conflict of interest, wrongdoing, stolen equipment, etc. Performs data analysis reviews using ACL software.
Education BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Minimum of 5 years prior experience as an auditor required. Knowledge / Skills / Competencies Advanced knowledge of business, insurance, claims, sales, banking, accounting principles preferred. Detail understanding of auditing principles required. Moderate proficiency using personal computer and Microsoft Office software products required. Moderate knowledge of ACL, TeamMate software and mainframe applications desired. Special / Certificates Professional certification of CPA/CIA/CISA/CFE is required.
