Job Description

The Client Integration Specialist is responsible for facilitating and coordinating new contracts as well as exiting clients. Duties include developing transition plans, identifying issues/risks, preparing status reports, coordinating and leading meetings (internal and external), distributing communications, tracking progress and deadlines. The position requires the ability to work in a challenging fast-paced environment and the resilience to deal with changing requirements.


  • Lead and facilitate new client implementations, cancellations and renewals, from first notice to closure as assigned
  • Establish and manage timelines for each project
  • Develop and maintain implementation and exit plans for each transition
  • Conduct regularly scheduled meetings involving key players cross-functionally until closure
  • Distribute documentation to all appropriate recipients
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing data transfers with our Information Technology Department and the prior client representative
  • Maintain and store current documentation of each initiative
  • Provide input to manager for team process improvements
  • Identify needs and monitor client satisfaction
  • Supply information to business ops and other members of staff as needed regarding new clients
  • Develop client survey questions and templates
  • Occasionally travel to client offices to facilitate meetings and obtain requirements
  • Evaluate methods and procedures to determine how they might be improved


  • The Client Integration Specialist reports to a Manager within the department


  • Client Integration Specialists has no supervisory duties

Decisions routinely made include:

  • Determine key members to participate in the teams initiative
  • Determine the frequency and duration of meetings
  • Determine risks or capacity issues that prevents deliverables
  • Escalate problematic potential or known issues to manager

Policy setting:

  • Formally responsible for providing input into policies associated with the jobs purpose and essential responsibilities.

  • Knowledge of risk management industry and insurance terminology
  • Strong MS Office knowledge required Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word


  • BS / BA or Equivalent Work Experience


  • 1 to 2 years of industry and management experience
  • Customer service experience preferred
