Job Description

Administration and Real Estate (ARE) offers the opportunity to experience many facets of commercial real estate. ARE is responsible for the leasing of all buildings, renovating, both owned and leased buildings and performing all roles around facility management. ARE is also responsible for Physical Security, Enterprise Business Continuity Management, Environmental Sciences, Fleet Management, and Aviation. Lease Administration accounts for all financial transactions associated with these operations.

Job Description

This is a summer 2018 internship which begins in May or June 2018 and will run for 12 weeks.

The Admin & Real Estate intern will have the opportunity to participate in functions and responsibilities associated with architects, engineers, leasing managers, fleet, aviation and the finance team so that they learn more about every aspect of commercial real estate.

Job Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor degree

    • degree in the field of Finance or Accounting is a plus

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Possess an understating of financial business acumen and project management skills

  • Ability to develop and communicate financial and project management results

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word

This internship is located in Northbrook, IL. Non-local candidates will need to be open to relocating to this area for the summer at their own expense.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
