Job Summary
Positions within this family work with business customers to determine how Business Intelligence information and analytic solutions can be leveraged to support business strategies, capabilities, and processes. Incumbents in this position are accountable for full spectrum of business analysis functions for multiple workflows/projects of medium to larger scope. This position, under general supervision, is responsible for: Eliciting, analyzing, specifying, documenting, communicating and validating business intelligence requirements. Collaborating in the development of BI capabilities and ensures alignment of these capabilities to BI strategies and roadmaps. Driving consensus among business stakeholders and IT about the business needs and their feasibility. Coordinating and executing user acceptance testing that proves that the reporting and analytic solution meets business needs. Communicating business intelligence requirements to diverse stakeholder groups to create a shared understanding of the business needs. Acting as a liaison on Business Intelligence initiatives between business users and technology team. This job may lead others. General Supervision: incumbents are told what to do, but not how to do it. Incumbents have some discretion on work accountabilities.

Marketing Description
As part of the 3rd Party Management and Strategy team, this position has primary responsibility for leading and supporting projects and initiatives that utilize3rd party data and data services for Business Insurance. The individual in this position will consult with business areas on new vendor product offerings and emerging capabilities in support of business objectives. The individual in this role will also collaborate across divisions with PI, Claim, Bond and EBIA.


Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
Providing opportunities to our business to be innovative, reduce costs or improve ease of doing business by leveraging external data opportunities or partnerships. Driving projects of varying complexity including obtaining business requirements/objectives and coordination of business stakeholders. Facilitating requirements discussions, perform research, and performing data analysis in support of Business Insurance strategies. Vendor relationship management accountabilities and oversight of specific vendors including monitoring of SLA's, budget/supplier invoice management, usage management, metric reporting, document creation, etc. Conducting vendor screenings/market scans of external data sources and providers. Manage and contribute to the team SharePoint and wiki including adding content, administering access, implementing new features, governing inventory and working to ensure most up to date and accurate information is captured. Collaborating across LOBs and divisions (PI, BI, Claim, Bond and EBIA) with a focus on data optimization including driving best practices including creation of data quality metrics and development of standard. Creating and providing input to internal communications including periodic newsletters to our user groups as well as content directed at senior management. May provide guidance to more junior team members. Other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), Business or equivalent education or 5 years analytics work experience required. 4 years of business analysis or analytics experience required. Demonstrated intermediate analytic and diagnostic skills.

Education, Work Experience & Knowledge
4 years supporting the development of Business Intelligence solutions preferred.
2 years in leadership role on projects preferred.
Previous experience leading others preferred.
General understanding of the business functions, processes, and overall business strategies.
General Knowledge: Possesses sufficient knowledge to perform most work in normal situations.
