Claims Manager - Workers Compensation

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Length of Assignment: Direct Hire

Compensation: $90,000 to $110,000 Annually, Depending on Experience

Job Description:

Our client, a national insurance company is currently seeking a Workers' Compensation Manager for their Philadelphia location. This person would be responsible for overseeing multiple teams of Workers Compensation Lost Time and Medical Only Adjusters who handle claims from inception to close. Duties include assigning new losses, file audits, train and mentor staff, review job performance and recommend merit reviews and provide technical/jurisdictional direction to claims staff.

Required Qualifications:
  • Must have 8 years experience in the workers compensation claims along with 2 years supervisory experience managing adjusters
  • Ability to provide technical/jurisdictional direction to examiner reports on claims adjudication
  • Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills
  • Leadership/management/motivational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • College Degree
