Resources are responsible for the strategy and implementation of the AIA and ADS organizations. They determine the best way for the business unit to achieve their objectives. This function must identify the business units needs, leverage benchmark data, construct and manage operational plans to meet these goals.
Applies some demonstrated knowledge of how Allstate Independent Agencies (AIA) businesses function. Possess some knowledge of Allstate products, discounts, markets and competition in various markets within all the states and regions.
Working knowledge of Allstate processes performed by other areas and how they interact,
Communicator of business goals, objectives methodology and functions,
Interprets and draws conclusions on occasion from business data, demonstrating an understanding of overall business needs and desires that apply to a project or effort
Builds and maintains relationships with business and technology partners needed to accomplish assigned tasks.
Works cooperatively with project team members, field leaders and AIAs.
With direction, performs research, gathers information, analyzes data, draws conclusions and makes recommendations
Clearly and effectively communicates basic ideas and information to others
With direction, develops, operationalizes, and implements ideas that have long term broad organizational impacts
Begins to develop cross functional awareness; understanding the different contributors from other disciplines and works with colleagues to achieve better results
With direction, participates and contributes on projects that are up to basic to moderate complexity and are small in scope using accepted project management standards
Completes project tasks as assigned
Tracks own plan performance and project plan or timeline
Program & Process Design / Improvement
With direction, supports the development/design of new plans, programs, and processes up to moderate complexity
Participates in the evaluation of procedures and processes
Program & Process Communications
Notifies individuals of and monitors the cutoff/due dates for the completion and submission of materials
Edits and proofreads materials for accuracy in content as well as spelling, punctuation, and grammar
Composes standard correspondences (routine memos and letters)
Assists with writing, updating brochures, booklets, manuals, instructions or bulletins
- 1+ year of related experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- Sales and or field experience preferred
- Agency development experience preferred
- Basic presentation and facilitation skills
- Basic skills in project management, team building, and problem solving
- Good communications skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (ability to create presentations and create/manipulate spreadsheets)
- General understanding and knowledge of learning design, instructional methods and training techniques
- Basic knowledge of sales processes, policies, and procedures or other business/technical fields
- Insurance experience, business ownership or management backgrounds a plus
The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
