Description: The position is responsible for the support of the financial application system including maintaining, configuring, and troubleshooting the system. This also includes completing data transfers between systems, writing new or updating system calculation scripts, running deployments and data uploads. The position is also responsible for system security and assisting other users in the use of the system. The individual will be responsible for running monthly reports and completing ad-hoc report request. The position will also be responsible for helping identify and implement any process improvements in the department
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or MIS is required. A minimum of 4 years' experience is required in administering and supporting large financial applications (Hyperion Essbase). Troubleshoot database and application errors. Advanced Visual Basic, Access and Excel skills are required. Candidate must also have strong verbal and communication skills. Candidate should have understanding of financial processes, be a motivated self-starter and detail oriented. Must also be willing to work extra hours to support system updates and meet deadlines.
