Marketing & Operations Manager

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an updated marketing plan to adapt to market conditions and assure a quality book of business
  • Oversee development of producer base.  Identify and respond to changes in broker production
  • Responsible for the design, presentation, workflow, content, and functionality of the CGIA and AA+ websites
  • Assist in the management of insurance products rates and class plans through the use of market intelligence and actuarial data/metrics analysis
  • Strategic oversight of underwriting department processes/communications as they relate to broker transactions and compliance requirements
  • Advise management of industry trends, developments and competition
  • Know the insurance code in states we are working. Currently CA & TX
  • Provide input on procedure/system changes that will improve quality and productivity
  • Think outside the box and articulate those thoughts with the executive team
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed

Requirements:

  • Ability to write executive level business correspondence
  • Strong linguistic (oral and written) skills
  • Appreciation for the nuances of communication
  • Confidence to contribute to, challenge, and debate business strategies professionally

Education and/or Experience:

 

  • College education is valued but not required
  • Requires a minimum of three years of marketing and/or operations experience
  • Management level business experience in the insurance industry
