Claims Assistant - Workers Compensation

Location: Long Beach, CA

Length of Assignment: Temporary

Compensation: $17.00 to $19.00 Per Hour, Depending on Experience

Job Description:

Our client has a Temporary need for a Workers' Compensation Claims Assistant for their Long Beach office. This position is filling in for a leave of absence and is expected to last 1-2 months. They are looking for a Claims Assistant with at least 3 years experience supporting Workers' Compensation Claims Examiners.

Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years experience as a Workers' Compensation Claims Assistant
  • Experience sending benefit notices, paying benefits, bills and scheduling medical appointments
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Public Entity Experience
  • IEA courses or related training
