Job Summary: Perform testing of insurance applications. Under guidance of senior team members, develop and execute test scripts, evaluate and document test results. Assist with ticket management for application defects and change requests and interface with internal and external technology resources as required.

Primary Responsibilities include the following:

  • Execute existing test scripts and test plans
  • Analyze test results
  • Develop new test scripts
  • Document test results and system issues
  • Coordinate with internal and external resources to resolve issues
  • Work closely with others in a team environment


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be self-motivated to learn the functional and technical aspects of the business and applications, be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and be adaptable in a fast paced, changing environment.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and expertise required. 

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field,  knowledge of quality assurance principles, testing techniques and procedures preferred 

Knowledge/Skills Required

  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment with minimal supervision
  • Ability to easily adapt to changing priorities, business needs and job duties
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • High dedicated, organized and self-motivated

Computer Skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
  • Foundational and practical experience with XML based interfaces and tools
  • SQL or Oracle based training or experience
