Under general supervision, this position is responsibile for assisting in the evaluation of the outside Auto staff to assure quality in field office claim operations. Delivers Commercial and Personal lines Auto Appraisal training to outside staff. Acts as a technical resource for the outside claim handling staff. Provides coaching and guidance for Unit Managers on managing workflow, effective claim handling, service delivery and quality control. This position does not supervise staff.
Ensures the integrity of Auto appraisals. Assists in the deterrence and detection of potential fraud. Supports Internal Security on suspect issues. Provides ongoing training and guidance to claim handlers through, ride-alongs, reinspections, coaching and feedback. Reviews damage estimates prior to payment as needed. Acts as a resource to claim handling staff on large or complex claims. Assists managers with office and regional focus reviews. Identifies, evaluates and analyzes problem areas impacting indemnity pay out, customer service, regulatory compliance and expense controls. Gains consensus from all parties involved, assists in the development of resolution plans and participates in implementation. Assist in delivering guidelines from a corporate, regional and national level to the individual offices and their auto claim staff members. Identify and deliver just in time training to auto staff. Identifies training needs and collaborate with Claim University in the classroom delivery of broad based training objectives, including all technology and equipment (company and vendor). Assists in catastrophe situations by providing first response and training. Interacts with home office, SIU and field office management teams that may include Commercial Lines/Personal Lines National Product team and systems. CAT Duty
Bachelor's Degree Auto Field Trainer - Proficient in CCC Estimating Software I-CAR Platinum designation and/or ASE Certification Prior experience in delivering training presentations.

High School diploma or GED Valid driver's license A minimum of 1 year prior experience using Xactimate. Auto Field Trainer: A minimum of 3 years Auto physical damage appraisal or body shop experience. Property Field Trainer: A minimum of 3 years Residential and Commercial physical damaged estimating experience.
