We currently have an opportunity for a Legal Compliance Coordinator to join our Corporate Legal team located in our Plymouth, MN office. This job provides administrative, clerical, and project management support for attorneys, paralegals and compliance professionals in the Corporate Legal & Insurance Product Development Department.

1. Coordinates the creation of new insurance products and revisions to existing insurance products, including formatting and proofing. Maintains database of insurance products with oversight from attorneys, paralegals and compliance professionals.

2. Works with attorneys and paralegals to identify IT systems impacted by new insurance products and revisions to existing insurance products and liaising with IT to implement new and revised insurance products.

3. Communicates insurance product changes to interested business and operational clients.

4. Maintains logs of regulatory examinations and coordinates onsite regulatory examinations as directed by regulatory attorneys.

5. Provides administrative and clerical support for the U.S. Corporate Secretary team within the Corporate Legal Department, including assistance with management of board book production and distribution processes and communications with board members and executives.

6. Prepares and edits legal correspondence, reports, presentations, spreadsheets and other project materials and provides word processing and spreadsheet support.

7. Assists Corporate Legal Department staff in developing and maintaining professional and constructive relationships with internal and external clients, regulatory agencies, outside counsel, and other third parties.

Decision-Making Authority/Accountability Level:
Under moderate supervision, works within specific limits and authority on assignments of moderate technical complexity.

Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills required. Strong written and oral communication skills are essential with the ability to communicate with people internal and external to the organization.

Must demonstrate a professional demeanor with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be flexible and capable of prioritizing work and managing multiple demands and tight deadlines

Demonstrated proficiency with computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and other document production, data entry and spreadsheet programs.

Familiarity with SharePoint and iManage or other legal document managements system preferred.

Must be able to handle confidential information.

Education and Experience:
Associates degree preferred. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience, preferably in a law firm or corporate law department.
