Benefits Account Manager; Boston, MA
Our client, a nationally owned broker with a very strong "boutique consulting firm" culture, is seeking a strong Benefits Consultant in their Boston area office. This role is responsible for managing and coordinating all client service activities for the most complex clients, including interaction with the carriers, vendors, and internal teams, analyzing alternatives, developing and presenting recommendations to the client, and implementing benefit plans. Must also maintain a comprehensive understanding of insurance carriers/vendors, the products they offer, alternative funding methodologies across all employee benefits, and be able to develop strong relationships with the clients. We are looking for 3-5+ years in group health benefits, preferably some on the broker or consulting side, strong communication, presentation, and excellent technical/analytical skills are required and ideally some experience in the self-funded arena.
