What we are looking for: 



We are seeking an experienced casualty adjuster or field adjuster for our Raleigh, NC territory.  Truck liability claims experience or field claims adjusting experience needed but will consider field adjusting experience only in lieu of direct truck liability claims experience.   This position may require being the primary or backup on call adjuster for the area.

The adjuster’s responsibilities include handling Casualty claim investigation assignments, being on call and responding immediately to trucking call out accidents.  Travel to the loss location, while maintaining contact with the client.  Interview involved parties, including locating claimant parties, if the scene has been cleared prior to arriving.  Investigating the scene, obtaining photographs, interviewing the truck driver, investigating officer, obtaining recorded statements from the adverse parties and any witnesses.  The coverage area includes Raleigh metro, Fayetteville to the New Bern, NC areas.

Desirable candidates should have prior casualty adjusting experience, a valid driver's license and reliable transportation, evidence of current adjuster licensure or a clear plan to achieve prior to employment and possess strong oral and written communication, problem analysis and organization skills.
